Small World

There is no upside to having MS the disease, but there are upsides to living with MS.  One is that you get to ‘meet’ really interesting people who also have MS, all around the world.  I tell you, life would be so different having MS without the internet.  I am daily contact with MSers who live in Australia, South Africa, Greece, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Ireland and various parts of the US and Canada.  They are teachers, writers, musicians, photographers, adventurers, parents and retirees.  Our common ‘geography’ is MS.  We all hate the disease, but we all get on with the business of ‘living’.

Last night I met Nicole, a delightful 36 year old lady from New Orleans.  Nicole has been married to a great guy for eight years and she is a fabulous writer.  She has a blog called My New Normals and is happy to share those ‘new normals’ with the world.  Her story is engaging, honest, informative and entertaining.  Drop in and have a read.  Nicole’s MS is quite different to mine but also similar in some ways.  We’re all different, but all in the same boat.  Nic’s blog is www.mynewnormals.com.

I’m so honored. When I first saw the post I yelled for my husband to come and see like a little girl!
