Drop Bears

I’ve been chatting on an MS forum with some US folk about that predatory marsupial we have in parts of Australia called the Drop Bear. Of course, Aussies are familiar with this beastie – related to the koala but larger, stronger and meaner and lurks in trees, waiting to drop on unsuspecting hikers or campers. The Australian Museum has a page dedicated to the animal - http://australianmuseum.net.au/Drop-Bear - and there have been some recent sightings in the camping area just outside Woodenavacloo in WA…
