NEWSFLASH – Julia Gillard will NOT lose the next election. She’ll be flat out leading the party next week. Her dispensing of Craig Thompson and Peter Slipper made for a Sunday Bloody Sunday, but I think Bono may be serenading her with a song from the Joshua tree album called, ‘Exit’. As one pundit put it, she didn’t finally decide to put out the garbage because it was putrid, but because the neighbours kept complaining about the stench.  “Excuse me Garbo, am I too late?”  “Nah, jump up on the cart!”
