Birthday wishes!

Posted on: Friday, May 25, 2012

I got lots of lovely birthday wishes from friends and family on Facebook and from the folk in my MS forum. I thought I would share two of those just to show how silly MS can make some people. This one from Roz who lives on Lesbos in Greece…

“ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΠΟΛΛΑ!!!

Here’s where I’m having lunch today. I shall be chinking a glass for you. I was so inspired by the colourful boat owner who chugged in and hung out his octopus to dry, I added matching polychromatic birthday doodles just for you. (I hope I haven’t ruined it)

The poor octopus had lost a leg to some wicked sea creature so I drew one in for you, and decided it just must be pink. Also, most Greek boats are adorned with women’s names – girlfriends, lost loves, wives, daughters etc. So, in these days of equality, I thought it fitting that you should have your own Poseidon reference.
In pink, of course.”

And from Maureen (the younger), in Florida.

“i stayed up late making this. i hope you liek it.”

Gee, those friends of yours with MS sure are talented artistically, aren’t they?

I wonder if having all those right-sided brain lesions helps in developing such skills? ;)
